My first review is in!

“I have known of this story almost since its original inception, and it has been a real pleasure watching it evolve. It shows that relationships can indeed thrive outside of societal norms, and that above all, it is love that makes a family.

The sex scenes were hot, but they showed more than anything the growing love and commitment between Amie, Michael, and Gabe. Don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of steam, but it never felt gratuitous.

Something that I was thinking after I finished is that I really feel like we’ve only gotten the high-level details on Michael and Gabe and the events that made them into the men they were. To me, that is a story that would benefit from being told in depth. Perhaps a prequel, Ms. Hart?

Overall, a sweet, hot, emotional read from a gifted storyteller.”

Yes, I know they won’t all be this lovely. However, it is a wonderful start – and it raised a topic that I have always considered. That being, telling the stories of both Gabe and Michael. The wheels are turning, and my fingers are itching to type…
