Ingredients: one seriously hot chef for a boss + one sassy employee who always says what’s on her mind = an unexpected and flirty romance about trying to resist the irresistible…
Finn King. He’s sexy, single, successful and hotter than anything that comes out of his kitchen. His focus lies on the perfection of his food, and becoming a celebrity chef. Women and love aren’t on his list of priorities until in walks Hailee with her smart mouth and flaming red hair. She challenges him at every turn, and he just can’t get enough of it.

Hailee Ferris doesn’t believe in fairy tales or happily ever afters. She learned that the hard way a long time ago. All she wants is to save up enough money to move away from the small town she’s felt trapped in her whole life. When she lies to get the job at Finn’s restaurant, the one thing she wasn’t counting on was falling for her boss.

When one accidental kiss turns their worlds upside down, now cooking isn’t the only thing heating up the kitchen…

(This book is a stand-alone romance in The Men of Evansdale County Series. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed HEA. Bonus content included: extra epilogue and sneak peek chapter for the next book in this series)

How The Men of Evansdale County Came to be:

Three years ago on a blog, I started a story that I updated in serial format. It was called We All Fall Down. There was a time I thought that I would turn that story into its own book, and someday, I still might. The story revolved around a young girl named Hailee and her friendship with two brothers, Finn and Tyler.

When I went to write The Space Between Us, Dean hated the way I wrote him. He let me know that every time I sat down to write him. Then one day it clicked that Dean was Tyler. I gave him a brother – Finn – and that was that. A series started to form in my head about these four men – Dean and his brother Finn, Vin who is Dean’s boxing friend and Forrest who was Dean’s childhood best friend and the brother of Dean’s love interest Emma.

Once again I sat down to write How We Fall, and the harder I tried to NOT make Hailee and Finn the same ones from my old blog stories. Once again my characters acted up and told ME who they were.

God, I love this couple. Finn is so different from his brother Dean. He’s refined, classy, mysterious and so, so sexy. Like seriously fanning myself because he’s so damn sexy. The day I saw this photo, I KNEW he was Finn and I could barely wait to sit and write it. I didn’t have to change anything that was in my head about Finn, because this image so perfectly conveyed him to me.

I hope you fall in love with Finn and Hailee ♥

Camp NaNoWriMo | The Island re-cover

camp_nano_logo-1

If you follow me on any social media sight, you know that I finished writing The Space Between Us during NaNoWriMo.

Until recently, I’d never heard of Camp NaNoWriMo until it was mentioned in a group I’m in on Facebook led by the one and only Alessandra Torre. Since I have a WIP that I’m trying to write, I figured I would sign up and I volunteered to be a “cabin leader”.

I am now the proud cabin leader of 8 other authors (Go Cabin Seahorses!) Every word we write counts towards our entire cabin – so camp is a team effort. My goal for Camp is to write 50 thousand words, which will put me at close to 80k for my current novel!

I’ve been a busy little bee. Writing. Working. Raising my boys. Beta reading. And I’ve had the pleasure of creating custom FaceBook branding for quite a few authors and working with two authors on creating their book covers. (I will post as soon as they give me the okay and have done their own cover reveals.)

Well, I couldn’t just NOT give The Island a pretty new cover. I’ll tell you – I’ve really struggled with that cover. Nothing ever felt quite right…until this beauty happened yesterday. As soon as I started to build the cover, everything just felt right. The tone, the colors – I’m in LOVE.

The Island: New cover and newly formatted interior!

ISLAND_EBOOK

I wrote The Island in 2012, and released it in May of 2017. I studied as many tutorials as I could – and yet I still did A LOT (admittedly) wrong! There was some wonky formatting, no table of contents – etc.

Over the last week I have done a labor of love and reformatted the interior, as well as gave it a sparkly new cover!

ISLAND_PBACK

THREE PEOPLE. ONE RELATIONSHIP.
For 31 year old Amie Graham, life on the island was supposed to be simpler – simpler than the life and problems she left behind. Less complicated and less dramatic than life back home. That was the plan anyway.
But fate, it seems, has a sense of humor and it throws a complication or two right in her path.
Complication one, Michael.
If you could cross a model with a football player, you’d get Michael, at least how Amie sees him. Long dark blonde hair, packed with rounded muscles and well over six feet tall, he’s gorgeous, he’s funny, sweet and vulnerable. He’s her own Greek god among men, and she finds herself falling in love with him.
Complication two, Gabe.
Gabe is beautiful, serene and intelligent, and Amie finds herself drawn to him. With his curly brown hair, soulful green eyes and olive skin decorated with tattoos and piercings – she finds herself falling in love with him also.
The other problem? They’re best friends – and they’re in love with her too. Can three people really love each other, or is the air of the island just messing with their hearts and minds?
WARNING. This is a MFM romance. While this book focuses heavily on the emotions and relationship(s) there is plenty of steam! If this is your cup of tea, you should know there is no MM action. It’s all about Amie, and her love of these two hot, loveable, sexy men. No cliffhanger, no cheating and a guaranteed happily ever after.

The Space Between Us Coming Feb 2018

Emma fucking Winchester

She’s little sister of my ex-best friend, Forrest. She’s off limits like tempting forbidden fruit, and I’m the snake slithering through the grass.

She ignites a fire in me. One I can’t explain. One I sure as fuck can’t control. It’s raw and primal.

She’s sweet, and I am not.

She’s pure, and I’m broken.

When I came back to the town and past I’d left behind ten years ago to make it big in the world of underground fighting – it was for one reason, and one reason only. To take care of my Grandma Rose, and I’ll do it by any means necessary. Even if it means doing the one thing I never said I’d do.

I didn’t expect to see Emma again.

I didn’t expect to want her the way I do.

I didn’t expect to peel back all her perfectly controlled layers or for her to see through mine.

***

Love isn’t always simple. And it’s definitely not as predictable as aspiring dancer Emma Winchester’s life. Or the way her life used to be until Dean King forced his way into her world and heart – now there’s no turning back.

Emma returned to her hometown of Evansdale after leaving for college when tragedy struck. She and her brother Forrest are now the sole owners of Winchester Estate Orchards – but the apple business has never been Emma’s passion. Dancing is. Until she bumps into Dean King, her older brother’s ex-best friend and the object of her teenage crush. She knows she’ll hurt her brother if she keeps seeing Dean, but she can’t stay away.

Tall, handsome and tattooed boxer Dean King is nothing out of a fairy tale. He’s brooding and moody, and he doesn’t believe in love. But when he runs into Emma, something ignites inside of him. A fire. A desire that’s all but consuming in way he doesn’t understand.

Dean’s life has never been simple. And it’s never been predictable. Coming from a poor family and having an alcoholic and neglectful mother left him with scars he’d just as soon forget. He left Evansdale to get away from the memories and reputation that have haunted him – until his grandmother Rose, the only person who’s ever told him they loved him is dying. Dean will do whatever it takes to take care of his Mama Rose. Even if it means selling his soul.

Fate brings them together. Burning passion binds them. When the fires get too hot, can love save them?

The Space Between Us is a standalone novel in the Men of Evansdale County Series. No cheating. No cliffhanger and a guaranteed happy ever after!
