Vincent Owen. He was gorgeous. He was cocky. He was a complete and total douche bag, and I was head over heels for him.

He left to become a champion, a warrior amongst men. And though he said he would call, I never heard from him again.

I never admitted to him how I felt. I never told him he made everything inside of me that hurt go away and everything that was wrong with me feel right – even if it were just for a little while. And that when he left, he took a little piece of me with him, a piece of my heart I could never get back.

That was then, and this is now and none of that matters anymore.

It all changed the day my daughter Violet was born. I moved on, life became about her and keeping my family ranch running. But now he’s back to pay his respects to the man his best friend considered a father. A man our whole town loved, and he’s about to find out that’s not the only thing waiting for him in Evansdale.

Together again it’s time to face the truth. For both of us.

The biggest question now is, is he ready for something like this?

The Space Between Us: Audio Version

Have you listened to The Space Between Us on audio yet? Narrator Logan McAllister puts on a phenomenal performance, bringing each character to life. The boxing scenes are fast paced and heart pounding, the romantic scenes are epically HOT and the reviews are in:

The performance by Logan McAllister was spot on. He delivers distinguishable voices for the various characters and adds the right emotions. I would definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator in the future.

A very well written second chance story. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a really good romance.

I was hooked by the first chapter and I am really excited to read the next book in this series. I feel like a lot of people can relate to Dean when growing up a person never fits in. I did not want to stop listening to this book as I really wanted to know the story between Dean and Emma.

An amazing story by Alyne Hart!! Narration by Logan McAllister was great and kept me listening!

 A M A Z I N G!!!

loved it so very much !!!!! the story line is incredible!

I love a good forbidden romance type book with a dark moody bad boy and this book didn’t disappoint. Fighter books aren’t on my top favorite to read but it worked well for Dean King. Emma was a strong main character, she was lost in life but it didn’t take from her strength and persistence.

First I must say that Logan McAlister is one of my favorite narrators. He took this story and ran with it.

How The Men of Evansdale County Came to be:

Three years ago on a blog, I started a story that I updated in serial format. It was called We All Fall Down. There was a time I thought that I would turn that story into its own book, and someday, I still might. The story revolved around a young girl named Hailee and her friendship with two brothers, Finn and Tyler.

When I went to write The Space Between Us, Dean hated the way I wrote him. He let me know that every time I sat down to write him. Then one day it clicked that Dean was Tyler. I gave him a brother – Finn – and that was that. A series started to form in my head about these four men – Dean and his brother Finn, Vin who is Dean’s boxing friend and Forrest who was Dean’s childhood best friend and the brother of Dean’s love interest Emma.

Once again I sat down to write How We Fall, and the harder I tried to NOT make Hailee and Finn the same ones from my old blog stories. Once again my characters acted up and told ME who they were.

God, I love this couple. Finn is so different from his brother Dean. He’s refined, classy, mysterious and so, so sexy. Like seriously fanning myself because he’s so damn sexy. The day I saw this photo, I KNEW he was Finn and I could barely wait to sit and write it. I didn’t have to change anything that was in my head about Finn, because this image so perfectly conveyed him to me.

I hope you fall in love with Finn and Hailee ♥
